ConnectPoint has a current opening for a Recruiter to identify, qualify and manage long-term relationships with technology candidates. You will interview candidates to understand their motivations/strengths/requirements, and then work with them on matching job opportunities. Day to day activities will include sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, as well as setting client interviews and managing salary negotiations.
Creative, resourceful ability to locate candidates through cold calls, networking, user group meetings, and social media to build a strong candidate database.
Must be able to read between the lines, pick up on red flags and qualify candidates and clients.
Track record of ethics and integrity in prior positions.
Strong organizational and follow up skills.
Technical knowledge, experience and/or a Computer Science degree are preferred.
Knowledge or interest in utilizing social media, such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin to build network.
